Synthesis of polyimide possessing NLO chromophore and properties of Langmuir-Blodgett films.

Newly synthesized polyimide possessing NLO chromophore as a side chain has a good solubility and is stable to 320 t.Polyimide Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films were prepared by the precursor method.The differences of multilayer structure between the precursor and the polyimide LB films were analyzed by means of Ellipsometry.
