Hypothermic Oxygenated Machine Perfusion Reduces Delayed Graft Function in Kidney Transplantation at a Single U.S. Center

Article 2025 EN Hybrid

Background: Hypothermic oxygenated machine perfusion (HMPO2) offers benefits of improving mitochondrial health and reducing ischemia reperfusion injury during kidney transplantation (KT); however this technology has not been widely adopted in the United States. This study presents early results from an HMPO2 program at a single center in the US.
