Article 1992 EN

Visual response properties were examined in 115 cells, recorded in area 21a of the cerebral cortex of anaesthetized and paralysed adult cats. Cells were binocular and had receptive fields consisting of a single uniform discharge region which fired with composite ON OFF responses to stationary flashing stimuli.
