Study on Electronegativities of Neutral Atoms

Using the effective nuclear charge and covalent radius, a new formula for calculating neutral atom electronegativities has been obtained:X=0.450Z~*r+0.330. The calculated electronegativities for 100 neutral atoms are presented, and the results are in good agreement with Allred-Rochow's electronegativities.
